About
Find answers to common questions about Versed.
What is Versed?
Versed is a self-hostable, modern content aggregator that collects content from various sources and displays it in a single place. Users can create categories (subverses) and assign feeds to them. It is also possible to save content for later reading, or visualise categorised content in a graph.
How do I add a new feed?
To add a new feed, navigate to the category panel, create or use an existing category, choose "Amend items", and enter the RSS feed URL. Versed will automatically fetch and display content from that source.
Make sure the URL you provide is a valid RSS feed endpoint that returns XML data.
Can I organize my feeds into categories?
Yes. Versed supports categorization of your feeds. You can create custom categories and assign feeds to them for better organization and filtering.
How do I search for content?
Use the search bar at the top of the page to find specific content. You can search by keywords, titles, or authors across all your feeds.
Is Versed free to use?
Versed is completely free to use. It will remain ad-free as long as there are donations to cover server costs. You can donate here.
How often are feeds updated?
Feeds are automatically updated every hour to ensure you have the latest content. You can also manually refresh feeds if needed.
Can I comment on articles?
Yes, Versed includes a commenting system that allows you to add comments to articles and engage with other readers.
How do I save articles for later?
If you're logged in, you can save articles to your reading list by clicking the bookmark icon next to each article.
